September 2017 – April 2018

The information below is for GCDC classes.
For information on our recreational dance program, please visit our REC page.

GCDC Classes are by assignment only. Returning dancers will be notified of their child’s assignment by the end of June each year. New students, please contact Danielle Black for your class assignment. If any adjustments to the class assignments need to be made after classes begin, we will contact you within the first few weeks of classes.

Click here for an explanation of how we determine class assignments.

Classes resume the week of September 18, 2017 and continue through April 2018. Enrollment is open until the week of October 16, 2017. Once classes begin for the year, late enrollees will need to schedule private lessons to catch up with their class or participate in our REC program.

Our classes will take place on MONDAYS, TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS this year.
*Add-on classes are available for GCDC students at a reduced rate.

These classes are available to be added on at a lower price to current GCDC dancers. See tuition page for pricing. REC DANCE, REC TAP and ACRO-DANCE will be invited to participate in a small Showcase for parents in May.

GCDC uses the acclaimed “Acrobatic Arts” curriculum which is based on a safe and effective progression through levels.  ACRO-DANCE focuses on flexibilty, strength, balancing, limbering and tumbling. So that dancers do not lose flexibility, strength and skills due to inactivity, ACRO-DANCE is available all year long. All new dancers start in a PRIMARY class until the base skills are learned.

POINTE is by invitation only from our Ballet and Foot Strengthening classes. If you are in those classes and are interested in the possibility, let us know.  If you are highly motivated, have a strong work ethic and are willing to dedicate yourself to at-home practice time, we can discuss your options.
