All classes meet September-April unless noted. Yearly tuition can be broken down into monthly payments, see below.

SIBLING DISCOUNT:

Additional siblings receive $35/year discount ($5/month).

 

ADD-ON CLASSES:

Add-on classes are available at a discounted price for currently enrolled GCDC dancers. If you would like to ONLY participate in the ADD-ON offerings and not regular GCDC classes, you will need to visit our REC & ACRO pages for pricing and information. The monthly fee below is added on to your current monthly payment. There are no additional discounts.

$35 – first add-on class per child

$25 – second add-on class (same child)

$15 – third add-on class (same child)

*POINTE is by invitation only from our Ballet and Foot Strengthening classes. If you are in those classes and are interested in the possibility, let us know.  If you are highly motivated, have a strong work ethic and are willing to dedicate yourself to at-home practice time, we can discuss your options.

 

 

 

ADDITIONAL FEES:

  • YEARLY REGISTRATION FEE: All families, new and returning, pay an annual $25 fee. This covers all dancers in a family and all add-on classes taken. This fee is non-refundable and due at time of registration.
  • CLASS UNIFORM: You are required to purchase a uniform for class. The three piece uniform runs about $50-$60, with an additional cost for plus sizes. The uniform can be used year to year providing it still fits properly. Click here for Dress Code for information. No one is permitted to take class without a uniform and dance shoes. If you have forgotten to bring your child’s uniform or shoes to class, we have a few that are able to be rented for $5/week.

ALL SHOWS ARE OPTIONAL. IF YOU ARE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE, THE FOLLOWING FEES APPLY:

  • SHOW FEE: If you are participating in the Spring Show, there is a $75 fee* to cover costumes (new, altered or embellished), tights if needed, accessories, props, backstage help and other performance needs. We provide a fundraiser to help you defray this cost (see Fundraiser). You can do a combination of fundraiser and payment to cover the fee. If not using the fundraiser, payment is due the first class in January and is non-refundable. Family max is $175. POINTE dancers are required to purchase their own costume and tights that have been approved by the Instructors.
  • SHOW PANTS: PRAISE, ACCLAIM, REJOICE, MAGNIFY, PROCLAIM, EXALT, CELEBRATE and GLORIFY are required to have specific black pants purchased from Tutu for the Spring Show and any additional performances. These will be used year to year, so you may purchase a little bigger and have them hemmed. Hem is to be touching the floor when the dancer is in her bare feet. Pants should not stretch tightly around the rear end and crotch area.
  • SHOW SHOES: YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY MARCH OF THE REQUIRED SHOW SHOE. You are responsible for buying your child’s Show shoes. Some classes are required to purchase two different types of dance shoe. Visit our dress code page in March for information. All dancers requiring pink ballet slippers must purchase them at Tutu in Bridgeville. Mention to the sales associate that you are with Grace Christian Dance Company and they will give you the specific pink color required at a group discount (shoe runs about $20). These should fit like a glove with a maximum of a quarter inch at the tip of the toes. Be prepared to purchase at least two pair per year.
  • SPRING SHOW TICKETS: Tickets are $10-12/seat*.
  • ADDITIONAL PERFORMANCES: Along with the class uniform, you must purchase the current company t-shirt* to wear over the uniform.
  • OPTIONAL ITEMS: Professional portraits of the girls in costume and copies of the show on DVD* are available for purchase.

*You can earn these items through our Fundraiser (see Fundraiser).

THE FOLLOWING FEES CAN BE AVOIDED:

  • ON-SITE LATE REGISTRATION FEE, $10: You can avoid this registration fee by returning your enrollment form by August 31 to GCDC, c/o Danielle Black, 109 Meadowbrook Drive, Moon Township, PA 15108. On-site registration is $10.
  • TUITION LATE FEE, $5: There is a fee assessed to tuition that is not paid on the first class of each month. If your child misses this class, you can avoid the late fee by mailing the tuition to the address above. If you need to delay payment for any reason, please discuss this with us ahead of time so you are not charged the $5 late fee.

 

TUITION CREDITS:

Our Company grows through your referrals! As a thank you, we’d like to give you a $10 tuition credit certificate for each referred dancer that stays at least 3 months. They must list you, on their registration form, as the one that referred them. Tuition credits will be issued in January and must be used by April 2017. If lost, the credit certificate will not be replaced. If you have prepaid your yearly tuition, you will be reimbursed in January for any tuition credits you have earned. Tuition credits do not apply when a sibling of a current dancer enrolls (see Sibling Discount, above).
