COMPANY CLASS TUITION AND FEES

2023-2024 SEASON TUITION

Information on this page is for the dance season beginning September 2023. All classes meet September-April unless noted.  

Class assignments are designated by the instructors of GCDC. New students should contact us prior to registering. 

Company tuition is due for the entire year regardless of month of enrollment or absences.

Tuition can be broken down into monthly installments. You can set up automatic payments by contacting us. If choosing to pay in installments, each payment is due by the 6th of every month. See information on late fees below.

There is no payment due in December. If you do make a payment, it will be credited to January’s tuition.

PRESCHOOL
  • 30 minute class, 1 class/week: $280
    7- payment option: $40/month
ADORE
  • 45 minute class, 1 class/week: $315
    7- payment option: $45/month
DECLARE, PRAISE, PROCLAIM, TESTIFY,  EXALT & MAGNIFY
  • 60 minute class, 1 class/week: $350
    7- payment option: $50/month

    We recommend adding on additional classes for dancers to further their skills.

CELEBRATE
  • 60 minute classes, 2 classes/week: $595
    7- payment option: $85/month

Tuition reflects CELEBRATE’S Company Class and the one required add-on of Acro-dance or Stretch & Strengthen.  An additional add-on would be $25/month. Ballet is a highly recommended add-on class for this groups.

CELEBRATE dancers continue their training through the months of May-August. Summer tuition is to be determined and is not reflected in the price above. Note that performances are not optional.

REJOICE & GLORIFY
  • 60 minute classes, 3 classes/week: $770
    7- payment option: $110/month

Tuition reflects REJOICE & GLORIFY’S Company Class, Ballet class and Acro-dance class. An additional add-on would be $15/month. Foot Strengthening is a highly recommended add-on class for this group.

REJOICE & GLORIFY dancers continue their training through the months of May-August. Summer tuition is to be determined and is not reflected in the price above. Note that performances are not optional.

SIBLING DISCOUNT

First enrolled dancer in the family pays full price. Each additional sibling is discounted $35/ year ($5/installment payment).  

ADD-ON CLASSES

Add-on classes are available at a discounted price for currently enrolled GCDC dancers. If you would like to ONLY participate in the additional offerings and not Company Classes, you will need to visit the individual class pages for pricing and information. The monthly fee below is added on to the current monthly payment for Company Classes. There are no additional discounts.

  • $35/month – first add-on class per dancer
  • $25/month – second add-on class (same dancer)
  • $15/month – for each additional add-on class (same dancer)

EXAMPLE: A dancer in the PRAISE class would pay $50/month for her Company class, an additional $35 if she would like to take Acro-Dance, and an additional $25 if she would like to take a Ballet Class for a total of $110/monthly payment.

NOTE: May-August, when GCDC Company Classes are not offered, regular rates apply.

    • Pointe is by invitation only from our Ballet and Foot Strengthening classes. If you are in those classes and are interested in the possibility, let us know.  If you are highly motivated, have a strong work ethic, and are willing to dedicate yourself to at-home practice time, we can discuss your options.

TUITION CREDITS

GCDC grows through your referrals! As a thank you, we will credit your account $20 for each new family that you refer. The family must have at least one dancer that enrolls and finishes the dance season in any of the class offerings. They must list you, on their registration form, as the one that referred them. Tuition credits will be issued in May 2023 and must be used by September 2023. There is no transfer of unused credit to other accounts.

ADDITIONAL FEES

The average dancer, purchasing a new uniform and participating in the Christmas and Spring Production, will spend $200+ on expenses and required fees. The breakdown is below. 

YEARLY REGISTRATION FEE
  • $25 PER FAMILY

All families, new and returning, pay an annual $25 fee. This covers all dancers in a family and all add-on classes taken. This fee is non-refundable and due at the time of registration. Your daughter’s spot in a class is not reserved until the fee is paid. For girls starting classes in September, a $10 late fee is for registrations received after August 31st.

CLASS UNIFORM
  • UP TO $125 PER DANCER (NOT INCLUDING SHOES)

You are required to purchase a uniform for class. Some of the uniform pieces can be used year to year providing it is still on the required list and fits properly. No one is permitted to take a class without a uniform and dance shoes. If you have forgotten to bring your child’s uniform or shoes to class, we have a few that are able to be rented for $5/week. Hair is to be secured in a ponytail or bun with no flyaways. A bun is required for girls in GLORIFY and CELEBRATE.

CHRISTMAS PARTY 

A Christmas party is held for Company dancers and their immediate family each year. There are games and activities to enjoy. Dancers will share a preview of the routines they’ve been learning in class. There is a $15 fee and families bring a treat to share. PERFORMANCE FEES

SPRING SHOW FEES

If you are able to participate in the GCDC Spring Production by attending all mandatory rehearsals and keeping your account up-to-date, there is a $100-$150 show fee. This fee goes covers costumes (new, altered, or embellished), tights if needed, accessories, props, backstage help, and other performance needs. All costumes and accessories are property of GCDC. Payment is due the first class in January and is non-refundable.

  • $100/ PER DANCER (PRESCHOOL, ADORE, DECLARE, PRAISE, TESTIFY, PROCLAIM)
    • Includes a $25 steaming fee which will be credited to your family’s account, if the parent steams their dancer’s costume by March 31. This credit must be used by June 30.
  • $150/ PER DANCER (REJOICE, MAGNIFY, EXALT, GLORIFY, CELEBRATE)
    • Includes a $50 steaming fee which will be credited to your family’s account, if the parent steams their dancer’s costume by March 31. This credit must be used by June 30.
  • A sibling discount is available for families with three or more enrolled Company dancers. The first two dancers pay the full  fee and $25 is deducted from any additional siblings’ spring show fees.
ADDITIONAL SPRING SHOW COSTUME PIECES NEEDED:
  • SHOW SHOES: You will be notified in March as to which specific shoes will be required for your dancer’s class. Some classes are required to purchase two different types of shoes.
  • BRAS: All dancers, that need to wear a bra to perform, must purchase a nude bra with clear shoulder and back straps. This must cover cleavage. Send in a picture before purchasing.
  • JAZZ PANTS: Most groups (other than PRESCHOOL, ADORE, DECLARE) may be required to purchase black jazz pants. Hem of pants should touch the floor when the dancer is in her bare feet. Please wait to be notified before purchasing. 
SPRING SHOW TICKETS
  • SPRING SHOW TICKETS, $15/seat
OPTIONAL ITEMS FOR PURCHASE
  • Professional portraits of the girls in costume
  • Copies of the show on DVD or USB Company t-shirts
    • If participating in any performances other than the Showcases and Spring Show, you must purchase the current company t-shirt to wear over the uniform to and from the venue.
MAY SHOWCASE FEE

If your Company dancer participates in any additional classes (Ballet, Acro or Recreational), there is an informal showing of what the girls have been learning in class followed by a cookie reception. There is a $15 fee and families are asked to bring cookies to share.

THE FOLLOWING FEES CAN BE AVOIDED

LATE REGISTRATION FEE, $10

You can avoid this late fee by registering for classes and paying your registration fee by August 31. 

TUITION LATE FEE, $5 for each week late

Tuition is due by the 7th of every month. There is a fee assessed to late tuition:

Paid on day 8-14: $5 late fee
Paid on day 15-21: $10 late fee
Paid on day 22 and beyond: $15 late fee

If you need to delay payment for any reason, please discuss this with us ahead of time.  

Tuition can be paid onsite,  online, or by mailing your payment.  You can also set up an automatic withdrawal from your bank account.
