Consistent attendance and arriving on time are essential for Company dancers. When you enroll your child in Pre-Company, you are committing to building the habit of regular participation. Dancers should arrive 10 minutes early, use the restroom beforehand, and be ready with shoes on when the teacher calls the class in. If a dancer has more than two consecutive absences, a private lesson may be required to help them stay on track with the class. Please email or text the studio if your dancer will be absent.
If your child misses two classes in a row, a private lesson may be required before returning to Pre-Company class. These lessons are given by our student teaching assistants and are $5/half hour.
In order to be enrolled in the Pre-Company program, the dancer must participate in the Studio Showcase at the end of the season. Until the date is announced, please keep the last week in May free from any conflicts.
Pre-Company dancers must attend the dress rehearsal for the Studio Showcase.
Dancers are expected to follow the Company uniform for all classes, with hair neatly pulled back off the face and neck. This promotes focus, discipline, and a polished appearance consistent with Company standards.
For performances, families will receive detailed information in April or early May outlining required hairstyles and any shoes that must be purchased for the Studio Showcase.
